Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data the JobCopilot website collects, why it is collected, where it goes, and the rights you have over it. It applies to this website only; the open-source JobCopilot tool runs on your own machine.
What we collect
The waitlist form
Your email address, together with the language you were browsing the site in and the time you signed up. That is everything the form sends.
The contact form
Your name, your email address, and the message you write. A hidden anti-spam field is discarded and never delivered.
Technical data
One functional cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, stores your language choice for up to a year. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, transiently processes your IP address and technical request data to serve and protect it, and its Turnstile check screens form submissions for spam. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Where it goes
This site keeps no database. When you submit a form, the submission is delivered by Resend, our email provider, straight to our inbox, and that mailbox is the only place it lives. Your data is shared only with the processors named below and with no one else.
Legal basis
We process waitlist signups on the basis of your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) and contact messages in order to handle your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). If you are in the United Kingdom or Turkey, the UK GDPR and KVKK give you equivalent rights, and this policy honors them the same way.
How long we keep it
Waitlist emails are kept until launch notifications have been sent and the list has served its purpose, or until you ask to be removed, whichever comes first. Contact messages are kept for as long as your inquiry is being handled. Either way, we delete on request.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, withdraw your consent at any time, and complain to your local supervisory authority.

Third-party processors
Three companies can process data on our behalf. Each one sees only what it needs to do its job, and the video provider is only ever contacted if you choose to play the launch video.
Cloudflare, Inc.
Hosts and serves the site, and provides the Turnstile anti-spam check that screens form submissions. Cloudflare transiently processes visitors' IP addresses and technical request data. It also provides the site's cookieless, aggregated web analytics. Cloudflare's privacy policy
Resend
Delivers form submissions to our inbox as transactional email. Resend processes the contents of your submission in order to deliver it. Resend's privacy policy
YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.)
The launch video is embedded through YouTube's privacy-enhanced player. Nothing loads from Google until you click play. Once you do, YouTube processes your IP address and device information to stream the video, and it sets no cookies unless you interact with the player. Google's privacy policy
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
